STORY Introducing MAPS (Mobile Architectural and Photographic Services), the brainchild of the innovative entrepreneur, Thomas Nangonja. Founded in 2018 and registered with BIPA in the same year, MAPS has quickly made a mark in the architectural and photography industry in Namibia. Before venturing into the world of architecture and photography, Thomas Nangonja began his entrepreneurial journey selling lollipops at Khomas High School back in 2009. With a dream of owning an architectural company, he honed his skills and knowledge over the years, including a stint at Game store, before taking the bold step to start MAPS. Driven by the vision of providing high-quality services at the convenience of their clients, MAPS operates on the principle of bringing architectural and photography expertise to the doorstep of their customers. This unique approach sets them apart in the industry, showcasing their commitment to customer satisfaction and convenience. The passion for photography grew within Thomas as he explored nature and people, capturing moments with a small camera. This interest evolved into a business venture, ultimately leading to the naming of the company as MAPS, reflecting their focus on both architectural and photography services. Based at Bokamoso Katutura in the Encubaitor Centre on Hans-Dietrich Genscher Street, Windhoek, MAPS is well-positioned to cater to the architectural and photographic needs of clients in Namibia.
